Silken Moon Fierce Avant Garde

Recently, I was searching for an Avant Garde skin tone to help take my look to the next level. Before I finished the tune, "Where oh where is my perfect skin? oh where oh where could it be?" I went to Silken Moon and sure enough, I found the perfect skin to complete my Avant Garde styling. The skin is called Eclipse Burlesque. The Eclipse Burlesque skin tone in lvoree went beyond what I was looking for. The Eclipse Burlessque skin really complimented the Risen hair from EMO-tions, Antares gown from Angel Dessous, and Roxxanne from FineSmith to finalize this fierce assemble.

I love it when I can find something fashionable under 500Ls and guess what? My finds are your finds too! Have you ever heard of BeStyle District? If not, you're missing out! There is a section called Gypset that has a number of top designers that sell items for a limited time. Just to give you an idea what type of designers you'll find PurpleMoon, FineSmith, Vero Modero, MEB, White Widow, and a few others. The one designer I wanted to focus in on is FineSmith. 

FineSmith has created this wonderful dress called Shiraz and it costs only 175Ls. Shiraz comes with earrings, necklace, and a purse. Add EMO-tion's Bella hair and you have a look for 420Ls. Who says cheap isn't chic?

Caught in the Rain...

As a model you have to look good, even when being caught in the rain. Technically, we don't get "wet" from rain in SL but ever woman needs a 'caught in the rain look'. With Prism Design Felicity in First Flower  you won't have to worry! For $450L this amazing Felicity outfit comes with a coat, leggings, and, boots. Pair it with the Circle Umbrella made by Dal Store,  EMO-tions Shelly hair, and finally the FineSmith Radiant set.

This post is dedicated to the store of FineSmith. FineSmith is owned by Yula Finesmith, who has shared her designer talents in SL time and time again. The quality of her designs amazes me as well as her perfectionist of each set of jewel being bought. Case in point, see picture below:

This stunning gown was created with a mix and match of FineSmith sets. I used the Modern Eve to cover the upper region of the "dress" and kept the elegant hat. The lower half I used part of the Crystal Reality gown. The Crystal Reality gown is to die for! The all crystal skirt is broken up into 6 parts, which can easily be removed or added. In other words, this means you can change the length of the all crystal skirt to the length you want!

The only items not used from FineSmith are the white satin gloves are from Blacklace, the floating stars from the Whispering Stars Dress; designer Boudoir, and the Emo-tions Tizia hair.

PurpleMoon 60Ls Rose Dress

PurpleMoon has done it again with there amazing 60Ls items. This week the new 60Ls items have been placed out and each one is better than the next. I had a hard time picking which one. I felt since it's almost Valentines Day the Luisana Dress in Red Roses would be perfect. Topped with Bliss Couture's Watanable Hair and Miah Hat I could style it to almost perfection. 

Please Note: The jewelry used for this stylish non-traditional Valentine's Day ensemble was from FineSmith. Regretfully Grapa from FineSmith can no longer be found on marketplace or in store. 

HOWEVER....

The total cost of this ensemble for hair, hat, and dress is only $238Ls! Surprised? You shouldn't be! Sometimes it's doesn't cost an arm and a leg to look fashionable.

PM's Newest Group Gift: Aria Gown

Hold on! This PurpleMoon group gift is striking! 

If you have yet to hear about PurpleMoon you've been missing out! Poulet Koenkamp is the owner & designer of PurpleMoon who makes stunning couture gown, accessories, causal chic wear and much more. There is often new releases of group gifts but these group gifts have a limited time offered, until it's replaced with another wonderful group gift. The cost to join the PurpleMoon group is 50Ls but I promise it is well spent! Case in point here. About 3 days ago PurpleMoon released this new group gift called Aria Gown. This elegant mesh gown comes in 5 different sizes as well as a pair of gloves.

Introduction

Hello followers! 

    

I thought for my first blog post to create an introduction. This way you know what to expect when following me. When I blog, I like to include where I got each item with hyperlinks. The name of the hyperlinks are what the items are called but the link itself will take you to that location. At times I will put prices of items especially if it's an amazing deal!  

I will also have some style under 500Ls posts and a mix of my thoughts on certain topics. 

I would like to encourage each of you to share any comments you may have about the my blog posts. If there's something I didn't list and you want to know where I got it from, just ask. I'm sure you're not the only one wondering and I'm happy to help in any way I can.

This elegant number I came across is from Utopia called Sun Queen. This Sun Queen gown comes with 3 tops, a few different accessories, and changes with the skirt (train or without). While I was taking my pictures for this blog someone next to me was wearing same gown but didn't realize it. She commented how she's been admiring my gown and when I told her it's the same dress she was wearing, she didn't believe it. I explained it depends how the person styles it. Luckily, her and you will be able to style this look by the end of this post.
