500Ls or Less Jungle Tigress

I've often heard life can be like a jungle. But what does that really mean? It's means life is full of surprises and can become wild at anytime. So why not prepare my amazing reader? In today's post I'm going to show you how to earn your tiger stripes and be called a jungle tigress.

In the jungle, proper attire is always needed. Luckily, Les Encantades has recently released Lanneth. It will include a part chain mail top that turns into a brown leather material to your hips. This top is laced on the slides and back with grey string but gold buttonholes. The top has five brown leather straps that go across the upper chest down to the waist line, the straps are buckled in place with a gold circle clamps. The sleeves a soft fabric but held up by a beautiful hand crafted leather armband with details. The straps on these arm bands buckle as well with a gold buckle. The panties to this attire is made with a mix of cloth and leather. The leather on the panties have embellishment of the same hand carved details on the arm bands. The booths a brown leather as well but has two gold chains dangling across the  ankle. Finally we have two vines creeping up the legs to help with camouflage.

Next we need hair, EMO-tions has recently released Sabienne. Sabienne, is swept back into a loose tucked up bun. Locks fall free from the bun and across the face as a leather band with gold circle help hold it in place. After all running in the jungle our hair is never in a perfect bun because the jungle is unpredictable.

Our Jungle Tigress styling is complete. You are now ready to earn your stripes!

In today's blog post I'd like to welcome back the talented Avalon Chrome and her creative photography skills. The pictures above were taken by her! She recently took my pictures for another post called The Fairy of Wasteland, which were stunning. 500Ls or Less Happy Halloween!

Halloween is creeping up and what's better than a 500Ls or Less Halloween styling? I'd say not much! Add the skeleton chocker in the shape of a hand & the above knee open toed boots and you are just about ready to head out! The cost for Happy Halloween? Try 99Ls!

But let's not forget the hair! Where to get amazing hair? EMO-tions! Picking up Nella will be perfect for this Halloween styling. There you have it a Happy Halloween styling for a grand total of 349Ls! You can't beat that!

500Ls or Less A Fair Maiden

Just another day of role-play! I'm sure you've noticed a pattern now huh? But I figured since I haven't done a 500Ls or Less post in a while, why not make one today? It's always hard to find role-play items that have high quality textures and could be considered 'realistic'. Luckily Les Encantade released a new set of gowns at the We Love Roleplay SIM called AraBella. AraBella is simply beautiful with the floral pattern of aqua ivy-vines and a touch of beige leaves. The corset is made of a dark brown cloth that gives enough support yet comfortable to wear. But how much is this gown? Let's see, if we take off 25%, it will cost you 150Ls. That's right, you heard right! $150Ls for this gown and it's available in 4 other patterns! If blue floral isn't your taste come look at the  other colors that are available.

Wanting to keep the theme of a fair maiden, I headed over to Emo-tions and picked up there new release Giselle. The golden locks flow down into perfect curls that drape to the front of AraBella & the back. When I selected this hair style I knew right away it was perfect! Oh! and the price for the hair? 250Ls

In total a fair maiden styling will cost you the grand total of 400Ls!

In today's blog post the picture was taken by the wonderful Sydney Bonde. This amazing photographer is one of the owners of IMPACT PhotoWorx. She is a diamond in the rough! The Fairy of Wasteland

Hello my amazing readers, I have some news. As you know all my pictures from my blog come from myself, however until further notice the pictures will be taken by other photographers in SL. Why? Two reasons! One, I don't have my high graphics computer anymore to take pictures and second I've come to find a lot of people who don't take pictures don't know which photographers to hire. In my posts I will include not only the items I'm wearing but who the photographer is and their rates! Shall we get started? I think so!

Let me start by saying today is an EMO-tional day. Get it? EMO-tional? Okay maybe that didn't get you to laugh but I'm sure when you see this styling you will love it. EMO-tions has recently released a new attire called Wasteland. Wasteland comes with wings, skirt, upper armbands, lower armbands, and corset. EMO-tions has created two different color sets for this attire. The one I am wearing is the color of Faith and the other is called Hope. No matter which you get this attire is one word: fierce! When I first put it on, I felt like I could take on the world! But of course before I can take on the world I need the proper hair & helmet.

Hmmm... where do you get proper hair & helmet to enhance this fierce styling? of course! EMO-tions yet again. Luckily I was already in the store so I just walking across the store I picked up the hair Nefertiti and Frida. By combining two amazing hair styles I was able to create the type of hair I wanted. Now I needed a helmet of some sort. I walked around EMO-tions for a bit longer and came across the hair Lyra. Lyra has this beautiful headpiece that I knew would suit for this! This is where major editing came in and once edited I was left with only the headpiece that I wanted. I placed it on the head, but I wanted the fine metal and gems to be longer.  So I made a copy for the headpiece I just edited and put it next to the other. AND Va la! It matched perfectly!

The last touches was the Simone lipstick from Silken Moon & Regency thigh high boots from Bax Coen Design. What do you think of this style? Tell me in the comments below! Now, let me end today's blog post with telling you about this amazing photographer.

In today's blog post my pictures were taken by the talented Avalon Chrome. Have you heard of this photographer before? If not, then you must see her flickr. She's a graduate from Visionaire Institute and her own blog has been nominated for Avi's Choice Award Favorite Fashion Blogger 2014. She's won the best photo contest and landed the cover of NuVibez Magazine. She is simply amazing and she is currently taking clients. Downton Abbey

As you might have guessed, I'm a very big fan of historical shows. I've done a number of posts discussing certain movies or shows I'm watching that suddenly inspires me to style. It has happened again today! The show? Downton Abbey

Wanting to bring in the 1920 feel to my styling, I recalled the designer Cerridwen Lynagh releasing Arwen's Mithril not too long ago. But who is Cerridwen Lynagh? Have you heard of this designer before? If not, she's the owner and created of Cerri's Booty. Cerri's Booty is a store I happened to find on one of my adventures in SL. Cerridwen's does amazing glitter attires and whenever I wear one I'm asked, 'where did you get that from?,' it never fails! So why not use it for this styling and show my fellow readers? Why not indeed!

Arwen's Mithril has a number of colors you can choose from. In my styling I favored the blue topaz under dress with the platinum glitter cover. Arwen's Mithril comes with an under dress, dress cover, and a classy pair of strappyheels. Price? Try 399Ls Once again another amazing designer who gives you beautiful things for an affordable price. But what about accessories for this styling?

Luckily I've recently found a new designer that sells stunning accessories at unbelievable prices. If you recall, in another posting, I did promise I would let my reads know where.... and here it is! The store is called Modern Couture. Have you heard of it? If not it's a MUST shop at. Designer and owner, Donatela Couturier, has a vision of jewelry I've never seen before. It's unique and stands apart from other designers I know. Additionally, it's affordable for anyone! Knowing this designers skills I headed over there to pick up Queen Andy's tiara & bracelets. The tiara cost me $150Ls, while the bracelets, that comes in a set of two with earrings, is again 150Ls. Surprised? I was when I came here for my first time!

But what about those long pearl necklaces worn in the 1920s? Where do I get one? Ah Ha! EMO-tion has recently released a necklace set called Abigail. Abigail comes in a set of 6 pieces and each pieces is just as pretty as the next. Honestly, I'll be doing a few posts with this necklace since there are a number of necklaces attached. So be ready to see the name Abigail again, however in this styling I used the long white pearl necklace. How much does Abigail cost? Try 399Ls and personally it's another great buy! With so many necklaces to choose from, you can always mix and match like I did. Stay tuned for more of this necklace set.

Oh! How could I forget! We needed a 1920's hair style. Where to go....where to go.... I know! Lelutka! Josphine from Lelutka is a perfect fit for this 1920s styling with Downton Abbey in mind. What do you think?

And there you have it my delightful readers a styling inspired by Downton Abbey. If you need any help recreating this look please contact me in world and I'll be happy to help! Happy shopping and stay amazingly you.

500Ls or Less The Red Woman

It's that time again! 500Ls or less! In today's styling I tried another Game of Thrones theme but with a modern twist. One character that is seen, but her story hasn't fully unfolded is Melisandre or commonly known as The Red Woman. Now, where to get good RP items? Les Encantade! Wandering over to Les Encantade I couldn't, at first, make up my mind on which one to buy, but then Persephone caught my eye. Persephone is a lovely red and black silk gown that drops to the floor.  It's trimmed in gold at the bottom of the gown, waist, and plunging neckline. The straps of the Persephone gown is high quality gold metal that matches the accessories of ruby arm bands, necklace, and crown. How could I say no? This assemble comes with almost everything you need! Cost? Try 200Ls! A steal if you ask me!

Next I needed to find long crimson hair similar to The Red Woman. Recalling EMO-tions new release Rosi I rushed over to buy it. Once bought I couldn't forget the final touch of a red lips and VA-LA! You have The Red Woman's styling for a total cost of 445Ls! So.... whatcha waitin for? Click on the hyperlinks below and you'll be in front of the items. It's easy as 1...2....3! Happy shopping!

I'm A Slave 4 U...

I cannot hold it; I cannot control it. AND with this outfit you won't be able to control yourself from buying it, or even someone else who's close by. You haven't heard? EMO-tions has recently release the seductive assemble Genesis. This mouth dropping release comes with upper arms bands studded with rubies, spiral bracelets, a halter bra and panties that has stunning embellishment of decor. In this picture below you will notice I have upper thigh bands and lower leg bands. Believe it or not, this is the arm bands and spiral bracelets. I just copied the items and attached them to my lower leg and upper leg. (If you need help with this please don't hesitate to message me in world.) I'm not going to lie here but, it will  probably take you a few minutes to study the craftsmanship going into Genesis. It is simply deviously sensual!

Now, I know what your thinking, your right Genesis is MUST have but what about the hair? How in the world am I going to find something to match? Fear not! For EMO-tions has additionally released Genesis hair to match!  Mirja Mills is just clever like that when designing!

How about cost? Drum roll for the total cost! *drum roll* Try 844Ls! I know what some of you are thinking. 'ummm... Eib that's a lot' right? Well considering how much you get and how you can copy the items placing them in other locations of the body, it's a great price! Add the fact you get two, yes I did say two, colors of the assemble and hair piece: silver/black or violet. In this styling alone I have 11 high quality jewelry piece, can you think of any other place where you can get this? I know I can't! I did recently find a new store that has amazing jewelry at an affordable price, but even at the cost they have I couldn't get 11 pieces under 844Ls!

And there you have it! Are you ready to say, 'I'm A Slave 4 U'?

Are You Going To Scarborough Fair....

Or maybe the Hair Fair & Medieval Fair V? I went to both! It seems my period styling’s have yet to come to an end and today's blog post is no different.

If you've been a follower for a while now you'd know I did a blog post on the Hair Fair last year called What Is The Hair Fair.... BUT for those of you who haven't.... that's okay!  Let me recap at bit, depending on the designer at the Hair Fair a certain percentage of the proceeds will go toward "Wigs for Kids" Charity.  The one I've selected is from [ Oblivion ] called Middle-Age 032. It suited perfectly for the new release by Les Encantades called Grace. But Grace can only be found at the Medieval Fair, which ends TODAY, July 19th. Oh! The Grace gown is only 200Ls, yet again another amazing design at an affordable price. Now, the down side to my knowledge is once both fairs are over, these two items will be gone. AKA this means act fast to go buy them. All you have to do is click the hyperlinks below and you will be standing right in front of them. No hunting them down is needed.

Now I haven't forgotten about the accessories. Wanting to find something that brings attention, I head over to Chop Zuey and picked up the jewelry set called Paparazzi III. In this styling you can see the shimmering bracelets and necklace are breathtaking. However, the necklace you see in this picture is actually three of the same necklaces. What I did with this styling is layer the same necklace one on top of the other. If you need assistance in getting your necklace to look this way please IM me in world, Eibhline Resident.

AND there we have it! Yet another period piece styling that will have any person bow deeply before you saying, "Your majesty" I'd like to end this blog post with one of my favorite songs. For those of you who got the title of my post, bravo & brava! For the people who didn't, please enjoy this youtube video below.

Where Are My Victorian Gothic Fans?

I don't know about you, but I've always enjoyed the Victorian Gothic stylings, but I never did a post on it before! Thus, I have decided to create one today and here we go! In the last blog post you saw I created a styling with the eighteenth-century in mind. The gown for that blog post was found at Vengeful Threads, and this one can also be found there called Black Baccara. In fact, both gowns are side by side in the store, however both are completely different types of stylings.

The Black Baccara comes with mesh corset that laces up the front and back. The back of the corset is laced in black string while the front with a black ribbon. The pattern of the corset is in 6-point stars, it's simply lovely! The center of the corset is a crimson royal vintage print that is stunning. The lower part of the gown is trimmed with black & red roses, and then fans out with another 6 star pattern. The back of the Black Baccara gown is has a bustle that only enhances this gown all the more. The Black Baccara also comes with high lace shirt and jacket that has frilly sleeves. BUT that's not all! It additionally includes a choker made from black pearls and a large ruby gem that balance between the pearls. The Black Baccara is nothing short but stunning!

Wanting to find the correct hair for this styling I headed over to EMO-tions where I picked up Lucia. Lucia is a lovely up-do that has a tight row of braids curling into a bun. Some curly locks dangle at ears creating a very elegant look. Not surprising Emo-tions had what I needed! Now onto accessories...

The accessories to this styling was too much fun to piece together. I first traveled over to Zibska to pick up this crown accessory called Zephyrine. Though Zephyrine comes with a necklace, I wanted to keep the choker from the Black Baccara gown. But I wanted to incorporate the ruby from the choker somewhere. Using a lot of editing I was able to create earrings from the ruby choker and add the ruby again at the top of the Zephyrine crown. If that wasn't enough, I used the roses from the gown and attached it to the Zephyrine crown as well. Please note unlike most styling’s I blog, the hairpiece in this styling is more complex. To edit the headpiece it might take more of an advance user with editing abilities.

Last but not least, let's talk about the makeup! I can honestly say I was having a hard time selecting which I wanted to use from the store Madrid Solo Cosmetics. I settled on using two different sets! For my eyes I used Spotted Owl, where as the lips Ravens Flight.

AND... da-ta! You have my victorian gothic styling. If you have any trouble finding these items or have questions on how I did something please don't hesitate to IM me in world: Eibhline Resident
